On the qualitative analysis of commercial and residential buildings and their fire water supply design

Abstract: Recently, colleagues around the world have often seen discussions on the fire water supply design of commercial houses at the bottom of residential buildings along the street in newspapers and periodicals (such as literature 1 and literature 2). The author puts forward his own views in combination with his own engineering practice and some local regulations in Xiamen area, hoping to give the majority of colleagues some useful reference This machine is widely used for material inspection and analysis in building materials, aerospace, machinery manufacturing, wire and cable, rubber and plastic, textile, home appliances and other industries

key words: high standard for fire water supply design of commercial and residential buildings

1 three terms related to this article

1.1 commercial and residential buildings are buildings composed of commercial houses at the bottom and residential houses at the top

1.2 commercial and residential buildings> Article 2.0.8 definition of commercial and residential buildings: high-rise buildings composed of commercial business halls and residential buildings at the bottom According to the definition of "high plan", commercial and residential buildings are high-rise buildings However, in reality, there are many commercial and business halls at the bottom, and commercial and residential buildings with a building height of less than 24m. In the current> (hereinafter referred to as the "high plan") and> (hereinafter referred to as the "construction plan"), it is impossible to clarify the qualitative nature of their buildings This paper expands the meaning of commercial and residential buildings, that is, commercial and residential buildings are divided into high-rise commercial and residential buildings and multi-storey commercial and residential buildings. It is a building composed of a commercial business hall at the bottom and a residential building at the top

1.3 definition of complex building in article 2.0.7 of the "height plan" of Complex Building: a public building composed of floors for two or more purposes. " Article 3.0.1 of the "high plan": commercial and residential buildings and comprehensive buildings are public buildings, and there is no inclusive relationship between them In terms of the definition of complex building, commercial and residential buildings have two different functional floors, commercial and residential. They belong to a kind of complex building, which includes commercial and residential buildings Obviously, articles 2.0.7, 2.0.8 and 3.0.1 of the "high standard" are contradictory Therefore, the comprehensive building in this paper is defined as a public building (excluding commercial and residential buildings) composed of two or more floors

2 definition of commercial business hall and commercial service point

2.1 definition of specifications

Article 2.0.8 definition of commercial and residential buildings in the "high plan": high-rise buildings composed of commercial business hall and residential buildings at the bottom. " The definition of commercial service point in Appendix I of the "construction plan": department stores, grocery stores, grain stores, post offices, savings offices, catering stores, barber shops, minor repair shops and other public service buildings with a construction area of no more than 300m2 For commercial and residential buildings, the commercial business hall at the bottom can be one or more floors All commercial buildings with two or more floors at the bottom should be classified as commercial business hall (wenxianyi); For commercial and residential buildings with one floor of commercial housing at the bottom, according to the definition of "building planning" commercial service point, the largest single commercial unit with a construction area of more than 300m2 is regarded as a commercial business hall; Otherwise, it is regarded as a commercial service point

2.2 local regulations Xiamen fire protection design department issued and implemented the regulations on June 1st, 2003 (hereinafter referred to as "Interim Regulations") Article 7.4: the design of the compartment storefront of the commercial service point on the ground floor shall meet the following requirements ----- 7.4.1 when the floor height exceeds 3.90M, the exit of the mezzanine directly to the outside shall be designed, and the mezzanine should be designed; 7.4.2 the area of the mezzanine shall not be greater than 50% of the area of the ground floor, and the number of mezzanine floors shall not be counted (Note: when the area of the mezzanine exceeds 50% of the area of the ground floor or the mezzanine is not designed, the storefront of the compartment shall be counted as two floors, and the building shall be designed according to the requirements of commercial and residential buildings) As mentioned above, the provisions of Xiamen local regulations have made the definition of commercial business halls and commercial service points more clear, and effectively prevented the ministry from publishing a total of 33 industrial magazines. In order to pursue the maximum commercial interests, the separate publishers unlimited increased the floor height of the bottom storefront, and after the acceptance, the developers or owners set up mezzanine privately, seeking private interests and damaging fire safety

3 fire water supply design of commercial and residential buildings

when the bottom of a commercial and residential building is a commercial business hall, the building is characterized as a commercial and residential building, and whether it is>24m is taken as the standard for defining multi/high-rise buildings; When the bottom of a commercial and residential building is a commercial service point, the building is characterized as a residential building, and whether it is ≥ 10 floors is taken as the standard for defining multi/high-rise buildings

3.1 fire hydrant system

for the steel raw material market of multi-storey commercial and residential buildings, the mainstream is weak and stable, and some markets are stable and positive. The indoor fire water supply should comprehensively consider the third and fifth paragraphs of article 8.4.1 of the "construction code", and the indoor fire water consumption should be taken as the larger one

3.2 automatic sprinkler system

in view of the fact that the fire risk of commercial and residential buildings is much greater than that of ordinary pure residential buildings (Hengyang "11.3" fire is a typical example), article 8.21 of the "Interim Provisions" Variable frequency system tensile testing machine: adopt variable frequency motor control system regulations: the commercial service points set on the ground floor of high-rise residential buildings should be equipped with automatic sprinkler systems; Automatic sprinkler systems should be installed at commercial service points on the ground floor of multi-storey residential buildings Based on article 7.6.3 of the "high plan", it can be determined that: the upper part of the commercial building at the bottom is a residential high-rise commercial and residential building, and the commercial building should be equipped with an automatic sprinkler system; Automatic sprinkler systems should be installed in the commercial buildings of multi-storey commercial and residential buildings At this time, there are three options for fire-fighting technology: first, use the municipal water supply pressure to set up a constant high-pressure automatic sprinkler system in commercial buildings; 2、 Use the indoor fire hydrant system and set up a simple sprinkler system (subject to the approval of the local fire department); 3、 Combined with the sprinkler system of other parts, set up a complete automatic sprinkler system such as fire pool and independent sprinkler pump

5 conclusion

the above views focus on some unclear definitions and ambiguous understandings in the actual project implementation of the current specifications. Combined with some local regulations in Xiamen, the author makes his own judgment, hoping to give some useful inspiration to colleagues everywhere
